Interesting thought…as the Arctic Ice shrinks, will our planet reveal new riches and elements that have never been seen before? Take a read…food for thought.

Even as the summer cools down, things are really heating up for the Model Arctic Council! We are very excited to have received applications for our staff positions, and will be going through them in the next few weeks – please check back soon to “meet” and get to know all of our MAC staff.
In other news, we are also working on some guest speakers for the event – if you have any ideas or thoughts on who you would like to see speak at MAC – please drop us a line – you can email me directly at denise.siele@unac.org or contact David at david.crowe@unac.org
Hope to hear from you soon!
Cheers,
Denise
Just returned from our wonderful meeting and update with the folks @ DFAIT. To our amazement there was a Kodiak Bear in their lobby! Thought we’d grab a couple of snap shots before leaving to show off the wonderful MAC staff and supporters. Thanks again to Paul and Beverly for their generosity.
Off to meet with the folks at the Department of Foreign Affairs to give update on the awesomeness of MAC. They have been amazing supporters of the upcoming event…maybe we will even run into the Canadian SAO, Sheila Riordon!
Stay tuned, will post pictures ASAP!
