Awards

Awards are presented to outstanding participants at the Model Arctic Council.  Following a peer evaluation that will be conducted by all delegates in their respective committees, the Committee Chair will conduct a detailed evaluation based on the following criteria:

• Overall knowledge of the topic
• Overall knowledge of the country
• Effectiveness within formal debates
• Effectiveness within informal debates
• Leadership skills within formal settings
• Leadership skills within informal settings
• Punctuality
• Participation at the conference in general

From this evaluation process, three delegate awards will be considered for each committee: Best, Outstanding and Honorable.  Each winner will receive a commemorative gift and a certificate from UNA-Canada.
